Brewster Dog Park opened on May 21, 2022. Friends of Brewster Dog Park
has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Town of Brewster to provide
daily maintenance. One of our Volunteer Stewards comes in the morning
before noon, and another comes in the afternoon to walk the Park to
assure its cleanliness and friendliness for patrons of Brewster Dog Park.
Friends of Brewster Dog Park would like to recognize and thank these
public servants at our Second Annual Steward Appreciation Dinner to be
held at Laurino’s Restaurant on June 12 th . Last year presented to volunteer
stewards Brewster Book Store donated a $10 gift certificate; Snowy Owl
and Cape Cod Bag Co. each donated a $25 gift certificate; ten $50 gift
certificates to Laurino’s Restaurant were donated; $50 and $100 gift
certificates to Agway of Cape Cod were also donated; and a $200 gift
certificate to ExFed Training were donated.
Our records indicate that over 1200 hours of service have been provided by
36 volunteer stewards. 10 stewards have provided over 50 shifts! In our
2024 survey 124 individuals responded. 88 rated Brewster Dog Park a 10
for cleanliness; 24 a 9; 8 an 8, 3 a 7, and 1 a 6.
This year we are soliciting patrons of Brewster Dog Park to additionally
support the backbone of Brewster Dog Park. If you wish to support our
