Join us to celebrate the 37th Annual Brewster In Bloom on May 6th & 7th!
On Saturday, May 6th, we’ll be at the park giving out treats and bandanas from 9 AM - 1 PM (treats courtesy of Agway of Cape Cod and Polka Dog Bakery). We’ll also have merch for sale, so this is a great time to grab some dog park swag!
Staff from Brewster Vet will also be on hand. They’ll be available to answer questions about parasite control, emergency care, and how to stay safe at the park. Bring your questions!
And the fun continues on Sunday when we’ll be all-paws-in for the big parade. We’re looking for people and pups to march with us at 1 PM. Please be sure your pup is comfortable with crowds and loud noises like sirens.
If your pup is not the “parade type”, you can still join! We need several folks to help hand out goody bags along the route. And we’re seeking one person to help carry the banner with our President Carmen Scherzo.
All participating pups will get a bandana to wear in the parade, and the first 20 people will get a Friends of Brewster Dog Park hat AND T-shirt. You’re also welcome to dress up your dogs – the theme of this year’s festival is “Flower (flour?) Power”. Dang, we’re gonna turn some heads on the route!
If you’d like to join, please email us at friendsofbrewsterdogpark@gmail.com. Be sure to let us know if you’ll be marching with a dog or if you’d like to hand out goody bags/carry banner. Also include the names of all marchers and your cell phone. We’ll be in touch with all the paw-ticulars before parade day!
